Every event is different, and the price of a band will vary depending on the location, and specific requirements of your event. Our quote is always fully inclusive and unique to your requirements, so please get in touch for an accurate quotation. When you’re ready to book the band, we’ll send you a pair of our simple contracts, and hold the date for you for a period of 7 days. Simply sign both copies, and return one together with a deposit of £250 to secure the booking. The remaining balance is payable 14 days prior to the event date by Cheque or BACs transfer.
Included in our quote is music from 8pm right up until midnight. We travel with lots of tracks on CD and MP3 and we have some great party playlists. You can even create your own party playlist on CD or iPod for the night, which we’ll be happy to play through our PA system! Most clients find that a DJ is not required when booking Classic Soul Dogs. If you require the music to continue past midnight, we also offer the option to extend the ‘DJ’ music until 1am for a small additional fee.
Anywhere in the world! We love the fact that most of our events are in the most popular wedding venues in South Wales, and we enjoy a great relationship with them. However, we travel all over the UK and beyond. We’ve travelled as far as Athens for a billionaire’s wedding in the past so don’t be shy… we love to travel!
The band have squeezed into some unimaginably small spaces in the past, so if you’re unsure whether the band can fit in your venue, please ask. Where space is not an issue and you are able to provide a raised stage, 20′ x 12′ is ideal.
For larger events (500 people+) we ask that you contact the band and we’ll be happy to work with your PA hire company or sub-contract our trusted, professional PA hire company on your behalf.
Setting up the full 8-piece soul band will take around 1 hour from the time that we have clear access to the room. In venues that we know very well, this may even be as fast as 45 minutes! Should you require the band to be set up before your guests arrive, we are able to accommodate this for a small additional fee.
We have a strict requirement for 8 bottles of still water, but that’s all. You’re more than welcome to provide food for the band on the night, it is very much appreciated but not a strict requirement. N.B. A well-fed band is a happy band!
Most of our events are private functions but, when possible, we will try and hold a public showcase once a year, which we would love you to attend. Please drop us an email at email@example.com with a request to be kept updated, and we’ll add you to the mailing list.
On most occasions, it is not a problem for you to pop along to another function to discretely listen to the band. If you would like to watch us in action, please send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
